Post 3, Our second month

Well we are now and truly into our second month, still pushing forward, learning and evolving by listening to our very own fan base of local customers. Changes to our menu are a foot , with more dishes and lighter meals with snacks for the summer hopeful of alfresco lunches , if summer finally settles. Fingers crossed. 

 

Drinks wise the big news, we are just about to launch our range of super cool cocktails so exciting. With classics like Espresso Martini to our own sparkly mocktails – great way to start the party or to finish a meal , my favourite is the Don Pedro, to get the party started we are offering buy one get one free on Fridays after 9.30pm throughout June. 

 

We are starting to flower up with beds planted thanks to Ed and the hanging baskets are in the greenhouse awaiting the onset of summer, great to feel The Upton blossoming in many more ways… 

 

Loyalty cards are now live and we are still getting requests to join our Pub family which continues to expand, thanks everyone for signing up. If you haven’t already joined the club, head off to our new swanky website www.theupton.co.uk for a bit of form filling. 

 

Wednesday night is of course our big quiz nights which started a couple of weeks ago and is gaining in popularity, delighted to say that we have already raised over £80.00 for our charity join up with Suicide Prevention uk (SP-UK) 

 

Pie night is getting a push , with extra mashes and now the addition of pie liquor, no need to worry we are stopping short of jellied eels, promise. 

 

Charity support 

Amazing to be working with these guys to support, fund, raise funds and raise awareness of their work in actively promoting mental well-being and preventing suicide. Keep your eyes and ears out for upcoming fundraising events,
