IRISH MUSIC - 2ND MONDAYS OF THE MONTH
Running every second Monday of the month we open our doors to a collection of Irish Music makers (and others too!) to come together, socialise and play for our customers. A beautiful atmosphere rish with upbeat sounds from across the Irish Sea from instruments such as the fiddle, mandolin, cora, accordian and tin whistle to name a few!

Music starts from 8pm and runs until late!

Elijah Jeffery is a jazz singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Cardiff, where he graduated from the royal Welsh collage of music & drama with a first class honours in jazz voice.

Fab Twins
These sharp suited Fab Twins return to The Upton for the second time.
They play vintage music from the 50s to the 70s from the likes of the Beatles , Simon and Garfunkel, the Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, the Monkeys. They cover many of the classic songs of those golden years of music in a style based on tight vocal harmonies and duelling guitars from original members Stace and Jon (...and no, they aren't actually twins!).

Another Chapter
Another Chapter are a three piece band formed a couple of years ago and are all about fun, good music and good times!
The three members played together in the top 80’s Tribute Show “Smack the 80’s” and chose to carry on entertaining together playing "nice local friendly” gigs for audience pleasure and their own fun.
They love the 80’s but also love other decades, now gathering their set from a wider time frame to include songs by contemporary artists such as Ricki Martin, Bruno Mars, One Republic, etc. and vintage 70’s classics by artists like ELO, Bob Marley and of course, ABBA.
You'll hear plenty of three part harmonies and a tight sound that is their trademark together with a show to involve the audience and get you singing, foot tapping and dancing.

The 'Uke Can't Be Serious' Band
‘Uke Can’t Be Serious is a group of friends from around Bath, Bitton and Marshfield. They sing and play an eclectic repertoire of music on a variety of ukuleles, a washboard and a melodica. They play for the pleasure of making music and for charity. To date they have raised over £21k for various causes.
The band has also represented The City of Bath at twinning events in Aix-en-Provence in France and Braunschweig in Germany.
The band last played at the wonderful Upton Inn more than five years or so ago and looks forward to returning.’
